We are looking for sponsors for our 1,400 mile trip around Lake Superior in July of this year. It will take 11-15 days to get around the lake.

Two years ago we made a trip from Superior, WI to Thunderbay, Ontario and back as a sea trial. Just shy of 450 miles on the GPS when it was all over. Learned alot about what to bring along and what to leave behind and fuel consumption.

We were written up in a few PWC mags, so if you are in the PWC business and want to help with the costs, we would make sure that your business got a big mention in the article.

Thoughts?

No Problem

Hello, my name is Prince hababooboo from the african nation of itsa scamola.I would love to finance your endeavor. My only problem is that my family recently was caught selling black market goats and our assets have been seized, if you would kindly send me your bank account numbers along with your social security card #, I can wire the amount directly to your bank. I only ask that you return what you dont use. Thank you.

you might want to talk to the fricken Saudies mabe they can help you with your fuel bill.

I'll send along a bottle of Schnapps to warm ya...how much publicity will that get me?

Do you sled under "BLUE BALLS RACING"? Will you call your PWC team "SHRIVELLED BLUE BALLS RACING"?

You aint kidding!

Water temp in Duluth Superior was around 55-60 degrees, by the time we got to Grand Portage, the water temp dropped off to 38 degrees.

On a 95 degree day, we almost got hypothermia from the 38 degree water spray hitting us thousands of times in the face on a particularly wavy day (3-4 footers spaced 20 feet apart)

We are looking for a PWC dealer that can even help us with oil, plugs etc.
The fuel bill will be enormous. My ski gets about 5 mpg cruising at about 35, @ WFO 72 mph, I will go through 16 gallons in an hour:eek:. There will be three stretches of about 180 miles that we will need extra fuel on board.

This will be a costly trip!
