I got mine on the cowl by my key but the first thing i heard when i got this thing was, "dont get it wet" well f%uck its getting wet, snow ,snow melting rain "WINTER" you get the picture. I just want to see where you guys are mounting the unit if under the hood or in the open.

I too would like to know, i have a kit on the way and want to know what all needs to be done to keep from frying these things.

Why dont you guys buy a really small Pelican Case to keep them in, just make a hole in one end for the wires and re-seal the hole with glue/silicone, etc. There is a new fuel box coming, available soon for those that are using the Pure Unlogical Box.

I put them in a zip lock bag then tape it sealed, and let it hang from the front side of the handle bar,so the snow can't stay on it,so far no issues.

So would everyone else in the world, there a pathetic POS.

Pure Tragic. LMAO !!!!!!!

Just silicon the heck out of it and keep it siliconed. Do not mount it under the hood.

I have a pure logic box and I mounted mine on the cowling, I have never had a problem. Everyone else I know has the same and no issues.

Is that what mpi uses on the supers???I have a bud whose nytro will barely run at all????:eek:

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to run this box there simple. If this is what your freind has well......:confused: I did the silicone thing and no problems yet. Any other good imput ?

Well I ordered another one just in case, hopefully i wont need it. Silicone here i come.

I've seen the siliconed ones last half a day. I would use the Synergy fuel/timing box when Mitch has them available. I know quite a few out with zero problems so far, correct me if I'm wrong. They have the ability to run more than one map and the best thing is, your knock box can be hooked up to it.

i have done 6 turbo kits and almost everyone either from pl or attitude has either went bad or has gotten wet.Ive had to take it off the snowmobile and put on the dash with the heater on it for like a half an hour to dry it out then it worked

I agree, if it is being used on a snowmobile, you would think it "might" be water proof or at least resistant.

you have to wonder where some people get there engineering tickets?? INTERNET for $25.00.

common sense still works best sometimes!!

If you guys choose to bash pl or attitude that is your opinion not mine lets get that clear. Im just seeing what guys with more experience that have been running turbos for a long time are doing. I know one thing the customer service is awsome from both these guys, and thats what means something to me.Talk to one of them and see for your self. If i have to have a spare so be it, the service was so good between the two i have one of each. If you cant get your supercharger working look Beyond the box.My experience is plug and go. Like i said this wasnt some lets bash thread just looking for USEFUL INFO.:beer;

The bashing gets old after about 20 or more post of it.

I think out in the open is the best with a bit of silicone.

There does seem to be durability issues but the mapping with the pure logic box is very good. Could be one of the reasons they're nearly always the first ones to the top. :p
