PITA changing tire on Mirage trailer

Welp, figured out the problem, the entire left half of where the axles mount to the frame has been tweaked and that's why there is no clearance to put the tires on on that side :(

You jacked up the wrong axle. You have to jack the other axle or the trailer body up, so the axle with the flat is hanging down. An easy way to do it is to run the back tire unto a block that is high enough to get the front one off the ground.

You compressed the torsion axle up enough to not get the tire in, all you needed to do was just get something to drive the other tire over.

I have a mirage all sport which is even lower to the ground than your snowsport, changed a tire early this year and it took me about 10 minutes.

No, this was jacking up the other axle ... I still couldn't get it to fit up in there without beating on it.

I had the thing in my driveway yesterday messing around with this as well, and it was the same thing all over again ... Pretty rediculous if you asked me.

I would call Mirage about it. They put the tires on before they build it, obviously.

Good story though.

I dont even know if this is fixable :(

You should know the deal, everything comes off or apart rather easy, it is getting it back together that is interesting.

We have a rule in our household, you take it apart, you put it back together. Sleds included.
