So I have an M7 that is giving me a bog and I believe it is to rich. I had a ring spin and catch the exhaust port, on the mag cylinder back in January. I had the bog prior to rebuilding the top end and it doesn't seem to run any better or worse since I rebuilt it. Odd thing is it bogs here in MN at low elevation but ran flawlessly, until the ring spun, out in West Yellowstone.
My question is, will the additional oil I put in the gas, or being such a fresh motor have any effect on piston wash? I did some half throttle runs across a field and looked at the wash and I see zero carbon deposits. The top of the pistons look as clean as when I put them in. Only have put about 5 break in miles on the sled...
I am going to go get a fuel gauge and see what my pressure is at but just want to be sure I know what to expect with new pistons in.
