Pipe on 08 M1000 W/ 09 Reflash ? ¿

Ok first off can we smash some rumors here?

1. BD Box cannot fuel a Single pipe setup on a 08 with the reflash (there is to many tight fuel points in the new mapping a BD box cannot fuel properly and I would need a PC35/PC5 or a different fuel box)?

2. 08 M10s with single pipe and reflash will not run much better than stock?

I currently have a speedwerx single setup just waiting to be put on but my brain is about to explode with all the info and research ive done for fueling it with no solid results.
I also will hopefully soon be running BDX or snopro airbox and a RKT 14.5:1 head

but if someone can PLEASE help me out with some BD BOX numbers of anything close to my setup or BD numbers with out the head and intake, or let me know that i need to go with a power commander or pure logic, etc...it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

AJ

I have the exact same sled w/ the '09 flash and honestly, after testing and using all of the fuel boxes (BD, Att. and currently the PCV) and intakes (BDX, Timbersled and currently the SLP) to play with and test, I would use an Attitude Box with a SLP intake in your case. They are very simple for a beginner tuner and work great! The only disadvantage is that you have to install a inline fuel reducer (not regulator) to get your pressure down to around 37-38psi, but they are only about $50-70. I am playing with the PCV right now w/ the SLP Intake, but the Gen III Attitude Box was solid once I figured out my fuel pressure needed to be down under 40psi. Took me awhile..................Good luck

Thanks Aaron, I have no problem tuning a sled but i am by no means an expert, however i do not have a fuel box for the sled yet and i would like to know what everyone is having the best luck with before i spend a couple hundred bones on one. I dont mind the BD box but it seemed like i was constantly messing with it on my old M7 mod. How did your sled run with attitude box and why did you switch to the PCV?

AJ

My sled ran great with it once I got fuel pressure figured out. I am just trying out the latest and greatest with the PCV testing and playing! Good luck with your decision. Personally...........I think the Boondocker box is by far the worst of all three of them. Always messing with it on the mountain with temperature and altitude changes. Never consistent.

Call me tomorrow at 208-354-2777 and I can get you set up with your Boondocker setup. Like Aaron said, it is a bit finicky.....but definately doable.....is that a word?
