Ugh.... today at 3300 ft
Not a single rig in the main lot, and no surprise... it's all gravel except for about a 100 ft section in the shade Only 3 other rigs in the smaller lot, but a few sledders did show up at the hillclimbs. No pics though, wasn't worth the camera space.
The trail up from the snowpark was THIN! Only 3-6" of ice/snow coverage for the first 2 miles till you get to the first switchback... but still all covered for the moment. Scratchers did the trick today, temps never rose above 136F
The hillclimb was actually decent, windblown and spring snow, but still about 3-6-12 inches deep depending where you were at on the hill. Considering we haven't ridden in 3 weeks, it was worth it to get out of the house, but only just... nothing to get excited about, it still sucks.
I didn't take any pics at the main hillclimb, but here's a couple from the smaller one just to show all the junk flying around... there was debris EVERYWHERE! Blowing hard all day and about 40* up top.
Here's one from the hillclimb from 3 weeks ago... looked identical today except it was blowing 40 mph most of the day...
Was cool running into RMK2112 and his group at the climbs, that 700 sounds great!
