I have a question for you guys. What is the riding like in Pinedale? What does it compare to? I have been to the snowies, cooke, and togwotee. Is it similar to any of these?
Thanks

So if a person wanted to try the area it's best to take a hotel right in Pinedale?
Did some research online and the video you posted etc. Definitely looks like they welcome snowmobiles! Wondering why I never hear about Pinedale on the forums etc? Seems everyone talks about Cooke, Togwotee, and the Snowies. At least that's all the flatlanders talk about.

Its more difficult to get here (thank god) ... There is no interstate in western wyoming, so thats why the vast majority of the flatlanders stay in places like the snowies, cooke, etc. Although, you do still see folks with Minnesota plates out here regularly .... an awful lot of Utah folks ride here it seems
Sorry for coming into your town! From Utah and usually our snow is great but this year had to head your way a number of times along with Afton-Alpine-Island Park. For us it is California people that come into our area. It only takes me 4 hours to get to Pinedale from my house, if I didn't have kids I would live there.
I am not saying anything bad about Utah folks, don't take that that way I lived in Vernal for ~6 years myself.
I'm just saying that thankfully we don't get the massive crowds here that other places get since its not as easy to get to as some of the more 'popular' places are.
Blind Bull snotel says 88". Is the Sherman parking lot dirt? Anyone have an update on the riding coming in from the east.
Thinking of coming out April 4th - 8th.
Any info please?
We had a pretty good spring snow day today to say the least. It was snowing, albeit lightly, when we left.
There's still some snow to be had out here this year .... We'll see what April brings.

Not a good way to start the season off.
With that said, if anyone is planning on being up here for the Christmas/New Years holidays, be careful .... We've seen quite a few slides in the last several weeks in most of the 'popular' spots.
Forecast today for the area was 'Moderate' ... WIth that said, still goes to show you .... be careful.
What are the conditions looking like so far this season around Blind Bull? We rode from Alpine a couple years back, and thought the area looked fun, but was snowing so hard could hardly even see the trail. If it works out right, might have to make a weekend trip to Pinedale next week.
