Best quality for price avalanche beacon? What should I buy?

I have one and like it but have never had to use it. all of the reviews that I read rated it at the top.

I use a Tracker DTS its a little old but i can find you everytime but practice makes a beacon. 1 guy takes 2 beacons through an un tracked meadow and throws them then tracks the whole thing up, now find em'. Practice practice and your buds will thank you!!

You hit the nail on the head practice practice practice and make sure your buddy does the same it takes two people comming home to call it a good day. two years ago i tested all of the beacons that were on the market at that time the dsp was the best one over all the tracker came in second the pieps picked up the signal about 4 foot sooner than the tracker . other than that they are the same . i do like the case of the tracker better

I have a DSP and a tracker BCA. The pieps is MUCH easier to use. Not that the BCA is hard to use it is very user friendly also. I guess I should say that When I practice with them, I am faster with the pieps dsp.

I'm waiting to see the tracker 2, but may just get the pieps, what's the difference between the 2? They are both 3 ant. The pieps gets props for distance, easy to use, great for multiple burials, history. Where is the advantage of the tracker 2?

I have the Peeps DSP and believe its a great unit. Excellent range, very easy to use. But as the rest say its not just the tool, you need to know how to work it and take an avalanche course.
