Just wanted to see what options are out there and who is running what? Since there are a ton of companies making them, I was thinking a thread dedicated to vents would be good. Thanks in advance for posting photos.

Put Holz vents on last weekend. Clean and simple. Some of the vent kits are just plain ugly.
Not the best pics but here you go..

hey don how about some pics, got my holz laying on the bench at the shop. i got the one kit that goes on the front of the side panels and the one that does the warning labels in front of your knees and the little one for in front of the gas cap. just finished up terry's slp kit, will take some pics of it and post them later on today.

I put the Fire-n-Ice on my pro and they look sharp. Tried to post pics but wont post them. I guess I am a computer idiot.

I like the vents, they look good on your sled. Have you had a chance to take it out yet? I'm curious to know if they cool things enough or if I would need bigger vents or more vents??
I am trying to decide between the Holz, R&M and or whatever Carl's is using.

I think I'm gonna go with the Holz kit. I like the fact that they're made out of aluminum and not plastic and pre-filter fabric. Looks good on the Silver scheme, I'd like to see how it would look on my red one.

Here is a pic of the Fire-n-Ice vents I put on my Pro.. Love the looks, very strong and easy to install.

does this kit have any prefilter material behind it? im not really thinking that having open holes without mesh material would get snow in and being that close to your clutches, they would casue a little bit of a belt slip issue? has anyone ran these vents before or have any reviews on them. I am looking into the fire-n-ice kit but would like an opinion onnholz as well. thanks

Holz claims that even with out pre filter they do not let snow in. But one of our ridig areas we cross a creek up to 20 times and I don't care how good ur design is with out a material of some sort water will get on to the clutches. I like the holz a lot but I'm really thinking I'm going to need mesh or prefilter at least.

I can tell what Carl's will sell you. Holz.. The ONLY brand of vents that they keep in stock.
Holz does make three more vents that go on the console where the huge warning stickers are. I cant use them since my Skinz knee pads are at the same spot.

Here's the Holz Console vents. Good quality as always. I never had issues with snow getting in but I did add some pet screen to the back side of the clutch vent/shock well on my IQ as a precaution.

How does the center console (funny) vent handle the tether when pulled off? I have those to put in and already have my tether installed there, but wondered about it pulling the rivets and or bending the screen.

Those screens are sturdy. I also used adhesive silicone around the cut outs and I have two left over rivets that I may stick them in there for good measur. It should be more than fine.

got my tether from poo, gmcrmk did you get any front vents? does your key work with the tether hooked up? planned on installing my tether right where you did, hooked up my buddies and his tether and kill switch work fine but the key no longer works. tried switching the wires but no luck.

Poo makes a tether "kit" that's a tad bit cheaper than buying the tether and washer shown on the Poo site for the IQR. The dealer may tell you it just plugs right in, but It would wire into the key, which will make taking the hood off hard trying to reach up and unplug the wires from the behind the key fob. It will allow the key to work if you wire it properly. I wired mine into the on/off switch and scrapped that.

No, I didn't do any front vents. With the rear being vented incoming air should flow over the engine & clutches better now that it has a place to escape.

The tether is plug n' play kit from Poo that I took off my IQ. Key still works.
