No kidding, I've yet to have a sled that would climb like my old 16" wide ported/piped 900.
I wouldn't trade the M-chassis for anything avail right now, but wouldn't mind having that old 1m back for the deep grunt hill climbing.
Thanks alot for the feedback guys. And as far as the windshield im not sure what im gonna do yet if anything at all.

x2 m series always look better without it. just stick with handguards. pretty sweet looking hood, and nice fit it appears.

How much $$$ for the hood, and how long did it take to get to you. How is dealing with XXXmod ? I"m very interested in the hoods. just tired of dealing with cocky business owners!
Can you put the M headlights in those hoods?
It is possible to install the m headlights into the conversion hood, not what it was meant for but can be done. We should have a new mounting system available for the stock headlights for our m hoods and m conversion hood in the next two weeks. So far the best home brewed method Ive seen was to seal the headlights into the hood with expanding foam (can from hardware store). The conversion hood is available from our website at mountainfithoods.net, or in Canada from Wayne at menz toys at menztoys@shaw.ca. No longer available at xxx modrods....
