Center nasty chute, Shawn Hastings first climbed in TS3

KrazyCanadian, this one hasnt been climbed yet either by a sled. There's a good line if you connect the dots. Even a nice straight one to the left of the top dot almost a b-line to the top.

Climbed it in Danger Zone

April2007017.jpg

Danger Zone chute,,, razor back, don't climb if your not sure.. I had to hit the left above the chute,, came down onto the top cornice and road the 10 foot long razor,

The next year it was so different, I don't think it was possible.. If you just fly up it and go over the top, it 100ft off the cliff on the back side..

Dalton05.JPG

June 13th.

Also went up this one...
Started in just left of center at the bottom...and went up that diagonal line in the middle to the upper bowl and then out the top of the ridge. I used to have a pic with a red line on it showing the pull, but can't find it now.

Here's looking at the diagonal line from the left side of the above pic.

Scott I took my 600 rmk over that in 02. I've also watched a guy go over the little one too the right

Yeah, it's not hard to go over Dalton in May. A 600 has to work at it and hit it on the right day. For sure. But yeah, it CAN do it when conditions are perfect.

Try it in 2' of powder though...WAY different story.

LOL

That was my first poke at Dalton. Right after a bone stock 1999 700rmk with a 136" did it.
When I went over that...(You can't see it on vid)....I fruggin flew about 15 or 20 feet. SAILED over the top and down that little hill behind it. LOL

Is this what you mean by keeping the front end down? Looks like it was a little to far down to me:D
