A few pics of Buddy and I ridin above Brooks lake today. Found some decent powder but wind had most if set up pretty hard. By afternoon it was like riding in late march. Wet and heavy.
Stopped at Lava mtn lodge for dinner on the way home and could see that pretty much the whole north east slope of Lava mountain had avalanched all the way to the dirt. Jim that worked there said he could hear the rumble from the lodge and looked up and saw it had went. Hope no one was in that area when she slid.
Be careful and go prepared.
