Had a great ride today and the snow was wicked deep.
The county was doing their best to get the road back into shape. I saw two graders and a county plow working hard. Tons of snow to move and without a blower, not many places to put it. The snow banks along the road were 4 feet in places and as the grader cut into it, it just piled and spilled back behind his blade. One grader had thrown a fan belt and was down for a bit waiting for the service truck.
They seemed pro sledder and some waved as folks passed. I made a point to stop by the down grader and thank the guys for there efforts.
They have not yet touched the 12 road and may not until they get caught up a bit. Won't be long.
