Dog gone it! I was going to go up there riding this weekend but ended up having a "honey to do list" a mile long. What was the consistency of the snow?
as soon as the sun came up..all the snow by the towers and east softened up and then you had spring snow.I stayed down by skate park and just did hill climbing all morning. A few others who said they would show up...didn't..oh well...had the entire mountain to myself for 4 hours...course I got there at 5:30 AM...still had a great time.
Was there @ 7:30. Maybe one other truck was there. Met WFO and group. They invited me to ride with them if no one else showed up. Rode with RMK2112 until I had to bail and get home. Snow was very hard on all south facing slopes. Softening up just as I left.
I was trying to call RMK on the radio all morning...6-9 on the radidio.Skate Park was good for hill climbing
We hit skate park. You could climb anything, but it was solid. Went over to the bowls East of the tower, back to the lake, down into Skate, out the bottom, messed around a little by some skiers, then back out and home. We did have radio's on, but missed calls.
Here's a few more from saturday. We went up to Mt Margret and ran the ridge down and droped down into swan lake from the ridge. Rode everything we could in there, then up to the tower and down the super bowl. Back up through baker lake and out. Awsome day, only came across a couple groups, lots of rigs in the parking lot, maybe I'm missing out on where everyone rides
