Click the slideshow link!! There where times when I had a bear come about 20 yards from me, pretty scary at first! Probably one of the coolest things I have ever done in my life! :) We had 15 bears within 200 yards of us most of the day, they where everywhere!

GREAT pictures.
Ever thought of a picture job for National Geographic.

Thanks, the pictures are awesome. It looks like an incredible time for sure! I was however very worried for those three people on the log. What are they thinking? :face-icon-small-sho

Duner, thanks for sharing buddy. Those photos are of epic porportions... breathtaking. I'm super jealous. Glad you had a good time.

ps. it is true, all those things fordtuff says about you??? ;)

The bear is thinking..."Cover yourself in honey and come back to me." I bet every person that has been attacked by a bear, wish they never "played dead"...look where it got them!? ;)

I bet that if he really wanted to eat them, honey really wouldn't matter...

We had a couple come that close. It really scared me the first time. I read somewhere that Denali National Park has around 500 bears in it, Yellowstone has around 300 last I read. Katmai has around 3500! I was only a few miles from where Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend got eatten, our guide had flown him over there a couple times, he had some pretty funny stories about the guy.
