that pic doesnt even really show how bad it was and were always climbing out of there i was up today pretty good slide sun was hitting it off on today nice pic though
We rode yesterday at Lake Anne/Van Epps area. What seems to be happening is the areas under corniches are sliding. The corniches are collapsing and triggering slides big enough to hurt you. The snowpack is pretty solid right now but drop several tons of ice chunks on a steep slope and it will slide. Stay out from under the corniches and raise your chances of going home. Also, be careful running ridges and stopping at the top of climbs where you can't see the corniches easily. I still think we are going to get at least a couple of big dumps before it's all over and then those corniches are going to be really dangerous.
