i've got an old phazer,and would like to know what kind of oil to run in the oil pump drive,or does it fill with injection oil,also just took off a psi pipe and was wondering what kind of jets i need for 1500 ft elevation,thanks

Probably just some grease in the gearbox. check out totallyamaha.com for more phazer info.

It works off the oil you put in the tank. There is no need for other oil.

You need to fill the gear case area with a good quality grease. This is the only lubrication the gears get is from the grease in the gear case. I hope this will help you out.

Chain case isn't the only lube... there's a bolt near where the speedo goes in that lubes that and the oil pump. Takes some kind of needle type lube attachment? I never found out exactly, and that's why I completely exploded my Phazer crank last year with 3,600 original miles.

Biggest piece of crank shrapnel was about the size of quarter.
