phazer turbo or mod mountian max

k so i cant decide between a phazer with a mcxpress turbo or a mtn max with big bore pipes port and polish high comp head and all the other good stuff i can not decide and need help really like both alot please help:spider:

the mtn max may go high up the hill if your making big hp. but the phazer needs no jetting, its turn key and ride, no worries about running lean or grenading an engine, much more nimble. i went from a a piped and clutched mtn max 600 to a stock phazer and i would take the phazer 8 days out of the week over the mtn max

Ofta, Idk if I would take a stock Phazer 8 out of 7 over a "well set up" MM.. I have riden the Phazer and MTX, owned a pretty modified MM, and depending on the what you really wanted it to do I would take my old MM. Now if you add boost to the Phazer, well youd be dumb not to pick the turn key set up and ride 8 days out of 7 vs 5-6 out of 7. And $$ wise I bet its close between the 2 too. That is if you only boosted the Phazer and did everything to the MM... EVERYTHING.

I have a supercharged phazer and a full mod mtn max, phazer hands down, but now i have the boost bug and want to boost my new nytro, I'll make you a hell of a deal on my phazer.

I just purchased a 09 phazer for a backup sled and had a blast on it just needs boost but you might want to thinkl about how much boost you want to run because these motors are not high boost friendly and after it was all said and done you will just want a nytro.

But either way it will be fun

I say Phazer, as a matter of fact you could buy my turbo Phazer already built in the swapmeet. The track is the only thing holding it back, I want to put a 162 2.5 on it, I have one missing some lugs I took of my nytro, but then I already powdercoated the rails and everything else to match, but if you were to put a decent track on one it would be a really fun sled.

my phazer was piped and the mtn max 600 was piped, clutched, boost bottle, 144x1.75x15 track.I was comparing 2 pretty much stock sleds. a modified mtn max compared to phazer is a whole different story. i could get my phazer more places than i could with the mtn max. but thats just my personal preference and riding.

mmax or turbo phazer

I have a mmax mod:700 ported polished, ekholm tunnel 156 track, bender pipes etc. (Runs easily with 800's )and a phazer mc-xpress turbo with 151 track.
mmax is snappier comes on fast floats better but is not as nimble as phazer. Phazer rides deeper in snow. mmax seems lighter than phazer. Reliability issues with phazer. Keep blowing header flex pipe and issues with induction pipe separating from hose fittings.
mmax seems to have more power than phazer at 12psi.
mmax is very reliable and outclimbs phazer in the deep pow here in the BC mountains.
My aim is to have a light 4 stoke....clean air is good!
But phazer is not much lighter than new Nytros!
