phazer lighting issues

hey i have a question for anyone who has had lighting issues on the older phazers, well i have a 87 and the light will not work, i put new bulbs in and they seem to work then all the sudden they burn out after a short while, do they have a voltage regulator? any suggestions would be great

yes they do have a regulator, I seem to remember it being down by the toolkit mount clutch side. sounds like your problem.

Be sure your tail light is working. It has a "Balanced output", if you run it very long with the tail light burned out, it will burn out the head light.
