I don't think you can do NEW Registrations online.......only renewals.
Just goto any sled/motorcycle shop...they'll set you up with a "pink slip" 60 day permit until your tag comes. Don't forget your VIN!!
Also, if you are just coming to visit, I think if you have a valid sticker for your home state it's Valid in CO as long as you're not here more then "xx" days or something....

just read thru the site and out of state tags can be purchased online.
They are required on any out of state sled being used in the state of Colorado no matter the number of days.
There are no "free" days as NC was thinking. Would be a nice loop hole if they did. The day that they checked you could just say "yeah its my first day"
It is considered a "use permit" and not a registration like us locals have to purchase
