Pemberton Conditions

We are heading to Pemberton March 30th, Just wondering if anyone could comment on the riding conditions down there? snow conditions, Avy forecasts etc? Also if anyone could help with riding area's? Have never been down in the area sledding yet.

You may want to consider a guide if you really want to see the area properly. You have so many options of where to ride. Rutherford/Brandywine/Hurley/Sproat/Brohm Ridge etc. Contact RGM on the forum if a guide is of interest. Knows the areas better than anyone. Based in Pemberton and he gets great reviews. If you go without a guide, be careful. One skier went into a crevasse I helped pull out 2 weeks ago then about a week ago a sledder went into a 30' hole. Both are OK. I rode Brandywine which is south of Pemberton on Saturday. Started as a blue bird day then within minutes we were just about following our GPS tracks out. The options are endless as to the riding. All depends on what you are looking for.

Snow is really thin unless you are riding on the ice cap. Just got back from a week trip up there.
