Has anybody heard anything about their boost kits for the XPs? I just spoke with the owner at length (he returned my call right away, and my email too). I have heard good things so far.

Rick is a good guy, he knows his stuff very well. I have had several BB's done by him. His 860 turbo he rides is pretty sweet.

Go to Felker motorsports you will not be disiponted! He is setting up skidoo race teams turbos.

Didn't know he was in the game for boost.

I really want to know more about Peak's kits. I know that to get good and fast service from Felkers you have to be part of his club. I didn't buy my sled from him so that puts me on the back burner automatically.

Peak

I rode with one last year. If I remember correctly it had a 2860 with a 2" charge tube. The fuel pressure regulator was mounted on the exhaust side which I wasnt crazy about. It ran OK. The key to the turbo kits on the xp is addressing the pipe, the ability to run the exhaust valves, keeping your reed boots together, and lastly knowing how to tune the kit.

I was also under the impression they were using alot of Turbo Boyz components but I could be wrong.

There are alot more turboed xp's out there now then there was 2 years ago and thus alot more support and the R and D is done. In my opinion all the kits can be made to run really well and the carbed kits are pretty simple once you address the issues noted above.

Well, I rode Peak's T-XP today. I watched him carefully and made the same ascents he did. I followed and watched. And needless to say it ran awesome! My sled is dialed and I got stomped.

The fuel pressure is on the PTO side and there isn't one single Turbo Boys component on it, so he's not "borrowing" ideas. From what I saw, it's truly his kit. Everything is fabbed in his shop and I can tell it's his design.

Very impressed with the sled, the install and his professionalism

pictures please

I did not take any. I don't own a kit as of yet and that would be wrong for me to be posting photos of somebody else's hard work and design. I can tell you that what I saw and what Turbo Performance is selling are very different in design.

peak has bought a few things from us over the years but they have there own stuff.

Pull the trigger and buy!! Glad to hear Rick's sled did not disapoint you. I love my Peak turbo.
