PCV??? New to it. Possible buy

Hey all,

Well Im picking up a 09 dragon 800 155. It has 700 miles on it and is Bone stock. It has not had the update done to it that change the pistons rings and head and flash it. Anyways i've been reading on here and alot of guys said the PCV is a must. My question is I found a used PCV for a decent price. What sound I make sure it has included with it? What maps should I run with it? Is it tuff to install? How does it work, just plug in with map you want and ride? Or do you have to mess with it out in the hills? What other jobs do you suggest? I think ill do the PCV and a clutch kit, and vents for now. Maybe a Can? SLP, JAWS, MBRP? All the help with be great!

That is all you need. Cable should have USB end and the other like one you would typically plug into a digital camera. Check out DynoJets web site for more info on the PCV. You can load two MAPS on to the PCV and access them on the fly by connecting a simple toggle style switch to the PCV unit. Maps are available free from SLP. That is the one I currently am using. What kind of wiring Harness is used to plug it into the sled? Stock Harness? Any added wiring?

The PCV has everything it needs to connect to your sled, assuming you buy the one designed for your sled. It plugs into your ECU. It has the correct cable to fit it and then it has a female plug which the old cable running out of the ecu to the sled electronics. You take the cable that is plugged into your ECU right now and plug it into the PCV, and then you take the PCV and plug it into your ECU. Very simple. It runs inline.

Brand new from Fuel Moto, comes with everything but the maps. Which you can get emailed to you.
