PCV for checking the TPS

I have a PCV and when I have computer hooked to the PCV on the sled with it running or to do the calabration it tells me the TPS volts can I use this to check it?

I wouldn't use the pcv I would recommend the use of a fluke or the digital wrench, to many variables involved . If you are off by one load base it could cost you down time .
 
i checked the pc v reading on my tps after i set it with my fluke and it read the same just some fyi.

the reading on the pcv is what the ecu is seeing but you need to set the base voltage first before you set the final voltage and you should use a tester for that.
 
Agree with above on setting baseline first but once that's confirmed the PCV value would be an accurate way to confirm it stays put and is easier to check that the TPS tester method.
