I just did an unscientific comparison of snow totals on Snotel for January 27 since 2004 for Franklin Basin (Logan canyon just over Idaho border), Monte Cristo, and Chalk Creek #1. There is less snow at each of these sites today than any January 27 since 2004. Chalk creek is 29% below the 10 year average, Monte is 30% below, and Franklin is 46% below. I hope the weather pattern changes soon or we are going to be in for a long, dry, summer...

It is not just Utah either looks like Idaho and Wyoming are loosing base.
