Looking for some new rubber for compfusion mounts.. Someone who can point me in the right direction?

I sent Colin a message on Facebook. I'll let you know if I hear back from him.

How much damage could you have on the pucks and still use them?? I just pulled off my cross member so I could replace it with Franz's master piece. And notice that the red rubber pucks are showing wear and cracks after just one season!!!

Quite a bit I think. Mine split too but I ran them all season and belt ran cool. A friend on a new cat exploded his belt and mine was still cool in deep powder. He got a batch that were questionable quality last year. If you have them out already I would go ahead and replace them.

I must have gotten a set of bad ones. I didnt even get off the tail into anything deep last year mostly lite trail riding with the kids. Just my luck....:face-icon-small-dis

I checked mine after 6 rides and they looked like an part of the puck had split off. I didn't feel like pulling the engine and I had a back up sled so I rode 12 more days in deep powder working the sled as hard as it was capable of and belts stayed cool.

I pulled mine a few weeks ago after about 1,000 miles on the original black ones and they were thrashed.

I think the pucks are susceptible to oil exposure, they swell up and get soft. Mine also had small imperfections after 2 seasons but still hold the engine in place very well.

My red ones didn't last 300 miles before they were breaking apart. Still :face-icon-small-con on what to do for the coming year.?? I read somewhere that back in '08 they thought they got some bad ones, I didn't buy mine until '10 so I hope I got the "new" ones. I'll more than likely try a stock set and see if I have any better luck with them. They may still be doing their job??? Haven't noticed any premature belt wear.

Same with mine, less than 300 miles on them and the started coming apart. They still seemed to hold the engine in place though and the belt stayed cool. Not sure if I am going to replace them or go back to stock ones.
