PARKING LOTS

JUS WANTED TO GET MORE INFO ON PARKING AREAS been to rabbit ears "dumont lot" i think..... n flatops outta oak creek.... also been to columbine on north end just wonderin where muddy creek lot is an also buff pass on walden side lot....... also does walden have grocery store? otherwise rockin the super duty n the featherlite hopin to ride in seven states again this year! any info is greatly appreciated i have helped out many sledders in my life thx rz!

muddy creek is a few miles past the waldon turn off. You come around a bend and there is some aprking on the road, a little further up is the muddy creek cluster f***. It can be a real pain on the weekend. If you go during the week it is real easy to get a spot. some one else will have to help with walden

parking lots

Walden is a full service town with everything. From there you can go south and ride Buffalo Pass, or Rabbit Ears. You can go North to Codrey (sp?), then West to an area i can't remember the name of, or further north into Wyoming and ride west of Encampment, or go on further north and ride the Snowy Range. There is a motel in Walden, the North Park Inn, that caters to snowmobilers.

Hey Ted you old fart, how ya doin. Hopefully see you at the Blizzards someday.. Oh, and it's Cowdrey and Hog Park! Nobody ride there, but it has awesome snow!

I'd stay away from MC lot until you learn how to park! Everyone parks like a dumbazz until proven otherwise. The longer you've been riding outta there, the better your parking becomes and the worse everyone else's becomes! Obey all cones with the initials PJ on them or you will be crucified on here! And never, NEVER park at the west end of the lot!

MC lot is more of an event than a parking lot. I'd recommend grizz creek if your interested in some real riding. 10 miles south of Walden, then down CR 26 another 10. Cant go wrong with the North Park Inn. Walden ain't much, but none of them inbred Mtn. towns are.

PARKING

THX ALOT guys jus tryin to make things smooth ive heard bout parking issues dont wanna be that guy haha so muddy creek is that the long skinny lot n also why dont they make a couple lots bigger jus sayin!

IMO all the lots up there are long and skinny! Muddy Creek is the one you cannot see the actual parking lot from the road (it is protected by trees on the south side of it between the lot and the highway). However, you can see the entrance to Muddy Creek from the road (looks like a typical plowed entrance to a lot). The Dumont lot can be seen from the road as it is literally just a pull off along side the highway. It is past the turn in to Muddy Creek. There are a couple more like this before you get to the Muddy Creek turn in coming from the south as well:)

Hope this helps...
