Parking Lot Vandals

Over the past couple of weeks several rigs up Logan canyon in UT have had the hitch couplers released on trailers. One of the guys I ride with had it happen in the Beaver Mtn Parking Lot. He also knows of several others that this has been done to as well. You all know this is just an accident waiting to happen.

Please double check your rigs before your leave the parking lots. Put locks on the releases, also your receiver hitch's. Double check your tires and lug nuts as well. The days of leaving your rigs unlocked and not secure are over.

Get a battery operated camera system and mount it in a tree before you leave.
Check it when you get back.
If anyone has messed with your stuff you will know who and it is admisable in a court of law.

If someone loses control of their rig going down hill theres a good chance someones going to die or get seriuosly hurt. Including other people on the road. By the way this happened to a local guy but it was his horse trailer, on the elk hunt, probably some retarded hippy against hunting. It killed both his horses and caused a nasty wreck. Some people should have been bl@w j@bs.

I'd get thrown in jail soon after meeting that person, I'll put it that way.

If any of us ever get thrown in jail for beating a worthless greenie scumf*ck like that to within inches of their life for pulling a stunt like that, I vow to start a HUGE donation fund to help support their legal costs.

My rig never leaves the yard without a big ol padlock in the hitch coupler, just eliminates a lot of possibilities and gives me some peace of mind, I even drilled out the coupler so it would take a bigger padlock, my reciever tongue is also locked (all winter long).

Hate to sound like BIG BROTHER but,,,, I've been thinking about installing vid cam on all of our rigs just for situations like this. Just think how surprised one of these culls would be when a law officer knocks on the door!!!!! Great fun!!!!!
