pilot creek wy is where I parked in 2018. then sled to cooke-aprox 10miles. i think that is what you are looking for..

I f you are coming to Cooke City from the east you would take the Chief Joseph Highway (296) to 212 where you would go West towards Cooke City. The Pilot Creek Parking Lot would be approximately 5 miles. It's a field on the left for parking right where the ROAD CLOSED sign is. You park and unload then snowmobile to town which is 8-10 miles.
