parking for carona pass

where can you park with an enclosed trailer and ride carona pass out of winter park. its been a long time since I rode there we used to park in a parking lot close to the mary jane entrance last I was by there that was gated off any help would be a big help thanks in advance

Turn right (north) into Lakota subdivision (across from ski area) it is at the second stop light as you are coming by the ski area from Berthoud side. Take first right (about one block) driving through the subdivision, pavement will end in about 1/4 mile, turn left onto Denver Water Board road (sharp uphill left turn). Follow this for about a mile or so veer left at t-intersection, stay on this till you dead end at parking area, about 3/4 of a mile.

rode it the last 2 mondays. pretty decent the first monday. saw our same tracks last monday. still worth getting up there. the trees have some hero snow left.

What he said... spot on.

Don't park in the (middle of the) F**ing turn around... turn around and park along the road... we're on sleds, another 50 yards isn't going to change anything.

Last couple times up I've seen big enclosed trailers parked in the middle making it a challenge for other trailer guys. (I have a sled deck... I'm just fine :D )

Snow is getting hardpacked in s facing spots, and there's not a LOT of N facing at corona, so the good spots are kinda minimal, but they're out there, plenty of fun to be had out there still!!
