Parking break light on

I have a 2012 pro and noticed my park break light was on even when I don't have break set or pulled, if a pull the break and let go the light will go off then come back on, I've been out twice now and it won't be on then I look down and it would be on, so i would just leave it alone and keep riding and later i will look down and it will be off. I'm assuming the switch is bad.... Any thoughts on it or has anyone had this happen?

I had this happen on my 2012 Pro and it was the switch. Still have some warranty? If not it is not too bad to change out.

could be that the wires got stretched or pulled out a little at the switch

You might try taking the hood wire harness coupler apart and adding some silicone dielectric grease. The coupler gets a little moisture in it and causes the gauge pod to do weird things. My '12 pro has done this a couple times and using dielectric grease in the coupler always fixes it.
