Parker knock box.

Hey guys looking for a great favor. I lost my knock box instructions and wanted to check the calibration on it again. Does anybody have the instruction sheet for setting it up that they could e-mail me. Thanks.
 
Me too. I bought an apex and the wires were cut on it, never hooked up.
I'd like to see how it works.

to set it you have to take it apart. on the back is a small screw that will take the back half off. inside there is a flat tip adjuster screw, you start the sled and let it idle loosen the screw till it shows det.thats your valve train then run it back till it stops flashing.
depending on how close you set it you can get false indication with the rev limiter or burble if you are running fat.
 
Sensitivity Adjustments

To adjust the sensitivity, open the display module by removing the small Phillips screw in the back. Start your machine. Turn the lower potentiometer counterclockwise until the light starts flashing, and then turn it clockwise until the super bright LED turns off.

This is the most sensitive and thus more prone to pickup normal engine harmonics as knock. If after riding you feel yours is setup too sensititive, you can adjust the sensitivity slightly clockwise (ususally one or two hash marks will suffice). Hitting the rev limiter can also be picked up as knock.


Thats all it says for adjustment. In the back there are two pots. The upper one is for relay set point and the lower one is the sensitivity. If you want to control boost etc let me know and I'll post those directions etc.
