PAR 13.6 head w/ rkt pistons vs RKT full drop in kit

Can the RKT pistons be run with the PAR head? i'm assuming since they are designed for stock head that they would work. What is everyone's opinion of how this setup would work for both reliability and performance compared to just doing the full RKT drop in kit?
 
I'm in the same situation. Looking to do the replacement pistons with slp stage 3 kit.
 
The biggest benefit I see with the full RKT kit is a true cheater head to maintain warranty and the components have more extensive testing together...
 
The Drop In kit uses hemi-dome pistons and Kelsey's patented head to match and will give a nice performance gain over stock. You CANNOT use those pistons with a stock head nor the PSI head. He DOES sell REPLACEMENT pistons - these are a different animal! No gains over stock, just better quality pistons and would match nicely to a PSI or stock head. Personally, If I were starting from scratch, I'd buy his Drop In kit!

Drop in kit works. So far, so good, up 2 grams, better throttle response everywhere, and no fueling issues on an 11. Either that or the Legend oil ;). Kelsey has his poop grouped here...

the cheater head does not maintain your warranty... will allow you to still have chassis warranty as any good dealer will do for their customers reguardless of engine mods, but your engine warranty is gone
 
As long as they don't open the motor they probably wouldn't know if they had a cheater head.

Does anyone know if RK-Tec make a head that works at low and high elevation. I ride anywhere from 600 ft to 11,500 feet. Need a head that works great for both.

I run the 13.5 domes and mix a 50/50 avgas down low at 1,000 or Kelesy can custom make a dome for you.

I would go with your most idle riding location to get the most out of your performance.

Although you can go with a low compression dome and ride high, just wont be to your best potential

Get his billet head - has replaceable domes so you can run sea level domes down low and hi-alt for your mtn trips. Really the only way unless you want to compromise with a mid-elevation head and race gas at sea level.
