I am currently running PAR 12.5 domes at 2200' on non-e 91 and works great. I do have a set of 13.6 domes, anyone know how much race fuel is required with the higher comp domes at 1500-2200'? How about at 7500' (about the highest i ride).

Fresh Indy dan LR800.

Reason i may run the 13.6 at both low and high elevation is that i find i run my short track at low elevation much more than my pro so it may be worth the little amount of race fuel i would use for the few times i take it out.

I have some c111 sitting around and have easy access to av-gas so its not a big deal other than $$$.

You'll need about 95-96 octane up to 4500 feet to run without DET, 93 octane from 4500-6000, premium fuel above that.

i had to run 20% race with 91 non eth at 5000'-7000' or else it would det
really like the head just can't run on pump at 6000' like i hoped
good luck
let it snow

Yup, received a response from brad at PAR and he recommends 30% race mix up to 8000'.

I am running the 13.6

Riding areas are 6-8000' but leaving from the truck can be as low as 1500' (Revy). The most I have done for improving the fuel over the pump 91 non-eth (I hope) is splash a little NOS octane boost in. It never dets at full throttle with straight pump but will sometimes at mid throttle. Often at undesireable moments. Switching the sled to 'eth' mode takes care of 90% of it. The octane boost the rest. YRMV

WHAT! I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT

ha ha i'm glad he's telling folks no harm done

here it is from the website

Application guide:

7000-10000 13.6 domes (naturally aspirated)

3000-7000 13.1 domes (naturally aspirated)

0-4000 12.5 domes (naturally aspirated)

11.0 (turbos) 0-5000

12.0 (turbos) 5000-10000

These are strictly guides . Must run minimum of 91 octane fuel .

Any idea what octane would be required for 14.5 domes at 18-2200ft? 6-8k? Do you have a pcv map for those domes?
