Panel fitment

I put the spare belt on and ended up with panel alignment like this. Is this normal or is the belt placed wrong. It looked good before, and again when I take the belt out, but it would be nice to keep in.

You can see a fresh scuff on the belt from the forward most clip for that upper vent.

Mine the same and my buddies is the same. Both are 12 pro's.... I think the belt is going in the back pack or I may see if I can relocate the belt holder to the top of thte clutch cover.:face-icon-small-con

I use wire ties (one on each end to make the belt loops as flat as possible) then install in holder..keeps it from bulging the hood out..

Doublecheck that you tucked the belt behind the little plastic thingies sticking down from the hood.

I have my belt mounted in the recommended spot with NO panel fitment issues. Looks same with belt as it did without. I would check to see that you have it tucked in properly! ;)

this is hilarious,i had my hood off and put it back together with the belt in and noticed the same thing...I was like "WTF" now i see on here i'm not the only one..gonna look for a different place for the belt, backpack sounds best and maybe put a under the hood bag on there..Not sure if i wanna put the bag above the clutching though.

Yeah the belt is tucked in behind both plastic tabs, come on guys give me a bit more credit then that hahaha.

This is definitely an eye sore. Is it possible there isn't uniformity in the clip rivet location amongst sleds - some located further in or out ?

give it a couple weeks of riding it will look worse than that on both sides without the belt in there.

Ditto

Mine looks the same, not cool. I like the ideas of the wire ties will try this.

I find that a couple zip ties at each end of the belt helps. It rally flattens the belt out and stops it from pushing on the side panel.

Mine does that and the belt isn't even mounted yet. Tried installing the panel five different ways and makes no difference.

ouch! hey buddy if you dont have anything good to say dont say it, no need to start guff on a harmless forum..

my panels fit good for about 4 rides... after that it all went downhill

I don't think they are as good of fitment as they could be, they need better QA on them...seem very inconsistent with some having no problems others with problems the first time they take them off.....i dont wanna take mine off now...lol

I wonder if we could drill out the belt holder rivets and mount the holder on the opposite side? Seems like maybe there is more room on the right side...
