Painting tunnel

Has anybody painted their tunnel with success? If so what did you use? I bought a holdover 18 and would like to paint the tunnel black, or possibly powder coat. I just thought painting would be simpler if there is a product like por-15 or chassis saver that sticks to the tunnel/boards good, thanks!

Did you do much to the aluminum to prep?

Scuff pad. Then etched then painted black. But i did wrap it after

No. I had coated bm fab boards
