painting tunnel?

Just wondering if anyone has had luck painting there tunnel, id like to paint my assault tunnel black. I know there is aluminum paint just wondering if it will hold up. There have been models that came painted factory they were ok.

well to get the paint to stick and last a long time you would have to spend a huge amount of time from prep work and finising
couple coats of primer, 3-5 coats of base color, then 2-3 coats of clear
do a good job should last like a paint job on a car.

or just save the hassle and time and powder coat your tunnel, or get it anodized

Alum. does not like to be painted. It just is a Prep. nightmare. Alum.likes to be polished or powder coated like mentioned above. Dont waste your time.
