Painting Apex Wind Shield

What type of paint is everone using to paint your Apex wind shield's? I want to paint mine Gloss Black. I can't believe Yamaha doesn't make one.

we always use gloss from a rattle can--good quality and we paint the inside so it doesnt get scratched

Yamaha does make them! Look under windshields and you'll find a gloss and flat black available. I believe there is also a gloss white too that looks pretty sweet! While we're on the Apex subject I heard from a very reliable source that works directly for Yamaha that there is already testing on a new 2010 model Apex that includes a 50 lb. weight reduction with somewhere between 10-15 more ponies too That would be sweet

2009 Apex Black/flame is standard with gloss black w/s. Part number 8FS-K7210-10-00

Ditto. I painted up an old scratched up pos and it looks sweet. Way better than I could have hoped for.

They gloss black one mentioned above is the same as my white one. The inside of the windshield paint is chipping away already though

heres the gloss black one. i dont think its a coated windshield. i think its molded from black lexan? havent rolled it yet to find out though!!!!htey also have this in a flat black as well..
