I have a 2001 triple axle charmac that has the riveted sides. It had a lot of decals on it from a previous owner that had been removed and I hit it with some rubbing compound which helped get rid of the decal outline, hut not nearly all.
I have been thinking about roughing it up and just painting it. Has anyone ever tried this? Or will the flexing just break the paint loose around the rivets (assuming a different color).
