Painted panels?

Has anyone had their side panels/hood painted?
If so how do they turn out? i worry about them flaking or the paint not adhering right.. just thought id ask if anyone has seen it done..

let me know for sure, im debating painting my silver panels...

I got mine panels painted black, when they were real dry i mounted some graphics. If the paint wouldn`t hold up i wouldn`t have any graphics on that sled today..

I just took the decals off scuffed original paint with sandpaper then sprayed mine with flat black plastic spray paint and I think they looked good it held up well and if they get scratched more than you like or want to freshen them up just spray them again

good news to hear for the panels i just purchased. They were painted at an auto body shop also.

I didnt have any luck trying to keep black plastic paint on my red hood.
