P22/P85 alignment bar

We have redesigned the TRS alignment bar. The new bar will accommodate the P22 as well as the P85 with or without e-start.
Bars were cut last week and are at the treater, expecting delivery next week.
The bar will be a component of all TRS clutch kits going forward.
The bar will also be available for purchase.

Do we know where Patrick's takes the weight from in the clutches? Will that need to be taken into consideration when using these?

Yes it will.
TJ takes .075” off the outside of the secondary’s stationary sheave. You will need a .075” gap between the bar and secondary.

Depends if you want shims or not. PM him and you'll have an answer within 24-48hours. I got the bar and shims and shipping etc to my area for I think $104

what is the difference between the p85 axys bar and the p22 bar?

The TRS P22/P85 bar had the primary’s nesting or saddle narrowed to get away from the bearing.

I was comparing my “old” P-85 bar and the new p-22/p-85 bar. They seem almost identical except the tips that touch the primary. Is that the only difference?

The P85 bar will lay on the P22 bearing and give a false offset.
The new bar nests higher in the primary.
