Saw this today,

Replacement clutch sleeve that is supposed to fix clutch failures.

Looks interesting and tempted to order it but wondering if anybody has any experience with it?

i just ordered the carbon sled model without the bolt and then ordered a arp bolt from fire and ice. seems it might be a the best fix

I have the titanium one from carbon sled.

Either way it's just a threaded connector.

Not a new sheave.

I put it on my 3rd P22 clutch and it's been great for all of 100 miles. 😂

we installed on for a customer this week...blue loctite on threads and green loctite on sleeve is needed. Per instructions...just need to heat up before removing..

What is your general impression of either of these "fixes"? I just picked up a 25 boost and while I still have warranty will run the P22 but am seriously looking at just swapping for the P85 and be done with it once warranty is up. Are you seeing significant enough improvement with these kits to make it worth sticking with a P22 from a reliability standpoint?

I did the same but ordered the carbon sled ti bolt too... one for the tunnel bag lol.

The clutch is failing because the machine fit on the taper was not perfect so over time the clutch will continue to creep up tighter into the taper, and when this happens the bolt will loosen. The free fix, lap the taper in good with valve lapping compound, install clutch in oven, heat at 125 degrees. Make sure taper is clean with alcohol and install with new bolt. Torque to 110. I guarantee it won't come loose. Old school trick from my race days. My can am x3 has so much power I had to pin the taper so it could not spin.

I get asked often about that...I am not sure how well it works, we need people to have 500-1000 miles on them to make sure there are not issues....to early to tell. hope it works so people dont have the falling off issue at 10K feet! we have had a lot of positive feedback from lapping the clutch on the crank. we send some with every P22 we balance.
