Over the Hill Drags

I know that I'm over the hill, but I'm looking forwards to the Spirit Mountain Hill Drags.
Anyone else?
Maybe we don't belong on the same topic as you ''real'' race drivers, but we were there once.
I still get a thrill out of brute HP , even if I can't take the bumps.
Actually some of you ''real'' racers should see what runs in the Pro-open.
Glenn Hall will probably bring his 1200 D&D with Boondocker turbo. I think she's 400 HP or more.
I'm running a mod. 1000, King Cat 162'' x 2.5'', I hope to get fourth or fifth. I'll tell you what these guys have fun, either racing or the party afterwards.

with all the big iron coming out I don't know if I should run my 800 summit xp in semi pro like i have been or move it down to sport

I think the big stuff is just in the Pro-open.

Although the 800 class might be quite full of great running sleds, it would be fun to see an XP run , as they're so light.

Criss-crossing from one side the track to the other. My son had to tell me that I'd be faster if I went straight.
