I just got done redoing the top end after a cold seized . I repaced 1 cylinder and piston on pto side and rings on mag side.I have done everthing to burb it and am still getting air in the system and it overheats rapidly. Now I am thinking it wasn't a cold seize. Any ideas?

When you say everything.....

Warm it up...
tip it on it's left side with the cap open (jug highest) and rev her up and down shaking the sled. Also run it up on a steep snow bank so that the front is higher then the back. Same procedure. Run it in reverse like this also.

I've also had to run it in reverse while balancing it tipped on it's side. That is a tricky skill and should be done out of visual of others and camaras! They get a bubble lock going and sometimes it's very difficult to get it out. The tipping reverse running deal finally did it for me once.

found it

Took the head of tonight and found a toasted o ring. Will I have to rering it or will it be alright? What does antifreese do to the engine?

We ran our race motors all of the time sucking coolant. Sometimes so much it would hydro the head right off! New O rings sometimes new pistons new head bolts and away we went. We could see it coming on the EGT's and got really good at how many passes we got prior to explosion. And won a bunch too!

Assuming you didn't completely load up the bottom end with coolant it should all burn out and be fine. I'd repair and run...it will run crappy and might leave a coolant fog until it all burns out. Don't get too crazy with it since the coolant can wash and effect the oil in your mix but generally speaking you can work it out without out total disassembly. Most likely if it's loaded with coolant it won't run great anyways. You don't want to leave coolant in the bottom end for very long though so clean it out asap. The ring seating question on a brand new top end is the unknown. Run it and see...if she's a dog, won't pull the R's once it's broke in, can't get your customary compression then re-ring down the trail a bit because you didn't achieve a good seat. Most likely on a non race application you won't know the diff.
