outside row stud flew off, punctured crossover pipe in front.

outside row stud flew off, punctured crossover pipe in front. Thiis is whta looks like a pipe that runs horizontal where the track loops around the jack shaft.

Is this easily removable from the underside ?

If not,, can i tig it on the machine. ?

Its a gash,, 2mm wide, looks like 3/8" long.

Lucky i saw the temp light come on,, then limp mode,,, thumbed quickly to temp led readout,,, 236, aaahhhhh,,, killed it right there..

After we got it back i did fire it up to load on trailer,, seems to be ok.... Glad i noticed that temp light.

well when we put the fus on it's side, it didn't look like a cooler,, but it is a casting which yes it would catch snow on it,,,, so, maybe a cooler of some sort... point is,, what ever it is it has a score/slash in it from a stud. Not bad,, my buddy said he'd tig it,,,,, said take it off... Well it looks like there is a riveted shield or somthin there,, and not sure if i gotta pull the motor to remove it... Im not gonna remove the motor for this,, My question is: Do i have too remove motor to remove it ??????

Or drill out rivets,, then i can access things to remove it ????????

If motor removal is 100% for sure,,, then im gonna bring entire sled to my buddy,, lay on side,, and tig it up. then re-rivet what ever those plates are.

Yes,, it's the cooler.. Just looked on the polaris web site.

It looks like there are rivets or somthing on lower side, and then also top of cooler,,, which i assume the track gets in the way for that....

Is this a ,, flip it on its side and brase type fix ????
