Outside carbide runners

How many of you have installed the outside ones that don't come on the new sleds, and if not, have you noticed any adverse effects? ie premature wear, etc.

never added them and dont notice any difference

I moved my old carbides to the outside and installed my new ones in the middle...can't say I notice any difference handling wise but the outside carbide does protect the outer edge of the ski from getting all narred up...I have a knack for finding all those hidden sharp rocks.
