Out-off Round Oil Res. on M-series

Anyone know of a fix for this on an 07 M-Series. The opening to the Oil Res is warped and i can't ge tthe cap to seal. do i need to replace it or is there an insert available like there is for the revs? Anyone get the dealer to take car of it?

dealer may fix it. do you have a after market exhaust. if so it may have melted it and it will probley have to be replaced. put sume heat tape on the next one and see of that helps.

its all stock still, with heat tape on it. i cant even get my ECU back from the dealer, doubt they will want to fix this thing.

you can get rid of it all together with the BDX oil injection delete.

My oil res is doing the same thing...stock pipe. I'll try my dealer and see if they will warr. it otherwise, I might do the oil delete kit as well....

If your dealer is at all worth anything they should replace the bottle. Seen my friends 07 800 go nuclear and melt a hole in the bottle and our dealer warrentied it. We also put the 08 heat shield on our 07 its alot bigger and seems to help. I've never had any problems with my 07 1000.
