I was wondering if there are any other snowmobile sites like snowest with good info on riding areas and such. I really like this site but noticed I can't see all the posts without paying. I really don't use the site much to justify paying

How did you track it to a specific site?

It was last year about this time so memory is fuzzy on the details, but it would act up when I went to the site, went there twice and got two trogans. Since I stopped going, haven't got anything.

These sites both run off vbulletin i thought. So the same things occur to all the sites that operate off that software generally.


Getting a "virus" it not something site administrators want their users to get. When/if they come under attack they will do their due diligence to solve the issue.

I am active on multiple sites including BCR and have never picked anything up...I guess having updated virus protection prevents these issues.

Nope still friends with a couple of them. The only reason I ever did go on there was for the ND thread but then I moved to MN. I still went on after I moved to MN just to chat with the guys but after my antivirus at work picked up the trogans I stopped going, it wasn't worth losing my job over.

I just know when I went to the site my antivirus would pop up with a block on a trogan. It happened twice.

Nothing against the site, I didn't find as much use in it as I do in snowest and dootalk as I am not there much for the looking at nuddy pics and trying to get the most posts. Just go on for the info and conditions updates.

Now your just making yourself look bad. You get what you look for in a site...if that's what you found...well then that's on you.

Lots of great snowmobile sites out there...all offering something a little different.
