Ok let me just say that I love snowest and i will always be a paid member and is the best site. I was just reading throught some threads and some people on here use other forums such as hard core sledder or back country rebels. I was just wondering if it is even worth the time to get involved in another forum, sure there will be some different people but would it be worth the extra time? Do any of you reccomend another forum to maybe get some different opionions or updates on riding areas? Or am i best suited to stay here and spend the extra time on here? I'm sure there are a bunch of them, but what do you use? Just looking to expand my connections and knowledge of the sport.

HCS is mostly flat landers like me but there is some good info there. I ventured over here from HCS and have found some equally good and different info here. Sometimes a new perspective is nice.

Yep two 4ms for me.

BCR is like the snowest of old. A closer knit, smaller buddys in the shop type of feel. Snowest is still good but it is like the guy who made it big and lost touch with most of his old buds. Still some good stuff and good times but never what it was back in the poor hard scrabble days.

hcs is the best for tech on the older stuff,I go there for info on my indy and pro-x,I come to snowwest for the cassifieds, backcountry rebels for the hawk forum, and build threads, snowandmud for my local rideing conditions..once upon a time snowest offered the best of it all ..but they didnt want to be all there was so they pushed the people offering said info to spread out on other forums.I just accept it and browse them all,I have no loyalties except to my assortment of sleds and there needs...

i find this the BEST site for tech info
at least for my ProRide

i too use to use other forums for certain things
Snowandmud is good for riding conditions, avy info and some pics of the recent riding
when i had a Doo, there was no better forum for tech info than dootalk

not really a fan of BCR, but i do visit it every now and then
not much goin on tho
cant stand HCS.....its like a bunch of kids fighting over what energy drink helmet is best, Monster, Red Bull or Rockstar
cant stand it there

I read 3 other forums. One is not a dedicated snowmobiling forum but rather a general outdoors forum for Alaska that has a snowmobiling section. I'm also an occasional reader of BCR and Dootalk. I just look for the topics that interest me, and read them because those forums have members that aren't members here and I can still learn from them.

I go where ever my finger leads me All the sites are very slow any more including this one i have to travel to get what i need out of it. Hey time is time spent here or there no difference

I think i might just have to test the waters on some of them and find out. Is there are strict polaris forum?

lol...

i used to use HCS when i was building my IQR. Lots of good info on there!

haha sure there is plenty of information out there, but just want to know the best places to look so i dont waste my time, i got other things to do also.

im the best and everyone COMES TO ME...the heck with forums..I AM A FORUM....lol..joking...you can ask a fella named Harris if there is anything else out there

Teto quit sledding and moved to Arizona. I think he's got a jetski rental shop at Havasu. He changed his username on here to something with his shop's name in it.

He hasn't been back here in over a year, I think.
I'll see if I can find his username. Can't quite remember what it was.

Isnt he the guy that lost his wife and maybe even one of his kids in a bad car wreck a couple years ago?
