I played with last years and the new update. This is cool. I really like the feature that you can tell if your buddies have there beacon turned on. I also like the fact that anytime they have better programming, you can update the S1. That way it does not become obsolete.

It is way easy. No lights to follow. Just put the vertical line on the person you are trying to find and start walking. Once you have found that person, you can select them(blocking there signal) and start searching for the next person. It really is the easiest beacon to use.
